The Lampard Inquiry resumes

The hearings in The Lampard Inquiry resume today, 6 July 2026. Katie Sage is instructed as Junior Counsel to the Inquiry.
The Lampard Inquiry is an independent statutory inquiry investigating the deaths of mental health inpatients in Essex between 2000 and 2023.
Over the course of the three-week hearing, the Inquiry will hear evidence from families, current and former staff of mental health trusts in Essex, NHS Trusts, the Resuscitation Council UK and expert witnesses.
Katie is assisting with staff witnesses and the topic of resuscitation in these hearings.
