£1.9M Erb’s Palsy claim approved by High Court

The High Court has approved a settlement of £1.9M in the anonymised case of ZLF, following a hearing before Mr Justice Kinnier at the Royal Courts of Justice. The case concerned clinical negligence in the antenatal management of ZLF’s birth, which gave rise to shoulder dystocia. The award is considerably higher than most reported/Lawtel awards of Grade II Erb’s palsy.  Harry Lambert represented the Claimant, instructed by Helen Franklin of Barcan + Kirby solicitors. Harry and Helen pride themselves on working together as a team, adopting an innovative but rigorous and practical approach to Quantum, and always adding value. Harry has a particular expertise in Erb’s palsy and birth injury cases and can be contacted here.
