Margaret Bickford-Smith KC to deliver inaugural CIArb Oxford Lecture
Crown Office Chambers is delighted to announce that Margaret Bickford-Smith KC has been asked to deliver the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators’ first Oxford Lecture.
The Oxford Lecture is a new lecture series instituted by CIArb with the aim of creating a forum for intellectual exchange between an experienced University of Oxford graduate and CIArb members. This first lecture is to be held on 19 March 2014.
The topic of Margaret’s lecture will be “The Interface between ADR and the Courts”.
The lecture will immediately follow an Evening Address at the same event by Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury, President of the UK Supreme Court, who will launch the CIArb’s 2014 Book of collected articles on ADR, Arbitration and Mediation.
The event will be held at CIArb’s Headquarters on 19th March 2014 at 12 Bloomsbury Square, London, WC1A 2LP, commencing at 18:25 for 18:30.
