Andrew Bartlett KC now practises principally as an international arbitrator.
His experience extends to many different kinds of insurance and reinsurance, energy projects, construction and engineering, manufacturing disputes, financial services, professional liability and other commercial contracts. He has conducted arbitrations under a variety of arbitral rules including ARIAS, ICC, LCIA, DIAC, UNCITRAL and CIMAR. He has been appointed by the ICC, LCIA, DIAC, SIAC, ICAEW and CI Arb, by the English High Court and ad hoc, for arbitrations seated in many different jurisdictions, including Austria, Bermuda, Dubai, DIFC, England, France, Oman, Scotland, Singapore and USA and requiring the application of a variety of governing laws including those of Austria, Azerbaijan, Botswana, England, Ethiopia, Iraq, New York, Oman, Queensland (Australia), Scotland and Taiwan (Republic of China).
The amounts in dispute have ranged into billions of dollars.
Andrew was Head of Crown Office Chambers (2009 – 2012) and Chairman of TECBAR (2007 – 2010).

Andrew has been active as an arbitrator since 1991 in insurance, financial services, construction and engineering, infrastructure, and other contractual and commercial disputes. While remaining in practice at the Bar, his work is now mainly as an arbitrator.
