Bosley Mill Managers Acquitted
Phil Smith, Operations Executive, represented by Mark Balysz and Mike Atkins, instructed by Dave Walton and Neil Miller of Keoghs, and Peter Shingler, Mill Manager, represented by Malcolm Galloway and Lucy Wright of Lincoln House Chambers, instructed by Vikki Woodfine and Sophie Parkin of DWF, were today acquitted of all health and safety Counts in respect of the Bosley Mill explosion in July 2015 in which four people died. This news follows shortly after the acquittal of Wood Treatment Limited, represented by Dominic Kay KC and Harry Vann, and George Boden, its Managing Director, represented by Simon Antrobus KC and Sandesh Singh, all instructed by Kennedys, on all manslaughter Counts.
