John Cooper KC & Mike Atkins successfully defend Electricity North West Limited
John Cooper KC and Mike Atkins successfully defended Electricity North West Limited, the Distribution Network Operator for the North West of England. After a 4 week trial at Preston Crown Court, the Company was acquitted of counts alleging a failure to risk assess work at height by linesmen and a breach of the general duty in section 2(1) of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. The Company was convicted of a single breach of the Work at Height Regulations 2005.
