Farrah Mauladad successfully defends B & Q in a “two breakdown” stress at work case



Farrah Mauladad appeared for the successful Defendant in Easton v B & Q Plc [2015] EWHC Civ 880 (QB). The Claimant, a store manager, claimed damages in the region of £1 million for psychiatric injury caused by occupational stress. Following his first breakdown he returned to work and suffered a further breakdown some weeks later. The judge found that the first and second breakdowns were not foreseeable.
