In Heeds v Chief Constable of Cleveland Police & Another [2018] EWHC 810 (QB) James Medd, instructed by Kennedys, has just successfully resisted a cross-appeal in a case which considered the application of PUWER and the Workplace Regulations to a security door and the Court of Appeal decision in Hide v Steeplechase Company (Cheltenham) Limited.
