Liana Turner returning to practice following a year as a judicial assistant at the Supreme Court

Liana was the judicial assistant to Lady Rose of Colmworth in the UK Supreme Court and Judicial Committee of the Privy Council from September 2025 – July 2026.
During her time at the Court, Liana assisted with several appeals, including CCC (by her mother and litigation friend MMM) v Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust [2026] UKSC 5, concerning lost years’ earnings, and AXA Insurance UK PLC v Commissioners of Inland Revenue [2026] UKSC 24, concerning group litigation orders and the circumstances in which the court should “order otherwise” pursuant to CPR 19.23(1).
