Carlo Taczalski and Hamish Fraser will be giving an online talk to the British Insurance Law Association (BILA) tomorrow.
Topic: Jurisdiction Clauses and Anti-Suit Injunctions in Insurance and Reinsurance
Timing: 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
They will draw on recent authorities such as Tyson International Company v GIC Re India Corporate Member [2026] EWCA Civ 40 to examine the construction and interpretation of jurisdiction agreements in insurance and reinsurance contracts, and the practical and strategic considerations that arise when seeking or resisting anti-suit injunctions. The session will consider current trends and practical lessons for insurers, reinsurers, brokers and their lawyers.
