Andrew Rigney KC to speak at Society of Construction Law (Hong Kong) on 10 February 2026

Andrew Rigney KC will be speaking at the Society of Construction Law (Hong Kong) on 10 February 2026 on the subject of “Insurance policies and claims in construction projects”.

The talk will provide an overview of the interrelationship between PI, PL and CAR policies, and will then focus on a detailed analysis of CAR policies, including the meaning of “damage” and “defect”, common exclusion clauses (DE/LEG clauses), co-insurance and period of cover.
