Crown Office Chambers is delighted to welcome Anthony Lavers to Chambers. Anthony has recently taken up the role of Research Consultant to the Construction Practice Group.
Having been Counsel in the construction group of the London office of White & Case LLP for over 20 years, Anthony brings with him a wealth of practical experience of construction and engineering disputes throughout the world, including in the Middle East.
Anthony holds a Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore, is a past Chairman of the Society of Construction Law, and is the co-author of one of the leading FIDIC practitioners’ textbooks (FIDIC Contracts: Law and Practice published by Informa Law from Routledge).
Anthony will work with Chambers alongside his ongoing role as Visiting Professor of Law at King’s College, London.
Andrew Rigney KC and Alex Antelme KC, joint Head of Chambers, said:
“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Anthony to Chambers. Not only is he an academic of immense distinction, but he has also been in private practice for many years, and, as a result, he is able to apply his in-depth knowledge of the law to the practical and commercial challenges which arise in complex construction projects. We have no doubt that Anthony is a perfect fit for Chambers, and we hope that he is very happy here.”
