Members of Crown Office Chambers Regulatory Team secure Gross Negligence Manslaughter acquittals
John Cooper KC and Harry Vann, instructed by Vikki Woodfine and Amanda Lea of DWF, represented the father of a young man who died following a fall from height during roofing works; Lucy Wright, instructed by Caroline Depledge of DWF, was junior counsel for his brother. The jury unanimously acquitted both men of gross negligence manslaughter after a three week trial before Mr Justice Butcher.
