Malcolm Galloway secures acquittal in Splott Church Collapse
Keith Young, owner of Youngs Demolition, represented by Kate Brunner Q.C. and Malcolm Galloway and instructed by Matthew Harrington and Francesca LoSardo of BLM, was acquitted by a jury on Wednesday of Gross Negligence Manslaughter and a S.3 HSWA offence arising from the Splott Church Collapse in Cardiff. This follows a 10 week trial at the Swansea Nightingale Court before Mrs Justice Jefford. Keith Young will be sentenced for a breach of the CDM regulations in the New Year. This case follows Malcolm’s successful defence of the Mill Manager in the Bosley Mill explosion prosecution at the beginning of the year.
