Healthcare equipment company released from inquest

The learned Assistant Coroner for Lancashire and Blackburn has today ruled that criticisms of Harry’s client, a world leading healthcare equipment manufacturer, were put forward by a source unqualified to make them.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) had critiqued product design however such censure was dismissed in full. Further issues relating to the Product Information Leaflet were held to be out of scope.

Harry’s client is now no longer a Properly Interested Party (PIP) and will play no active part in the forthcoming inquest. All issues relating to the product have been ruled as outside the parameters of the investigation.

Harry Lambert was instructed by leading commercial firm Simmons & Simmons.
