Malcolm Galloway successfully defends Mr Barrie Taylor in a case brought by the HSE
Malcolm Galloway, instructed by David Chant from DWF (Leeds), successfully defended Mr Barrie Taylor in a case brought by the HSE before HHJ Pugh at Ipswich Crown Court. The allegation against Mr Taylor, brought under section 2 HSWA 1974, concerned the fatality of an employee who was killed after a ‘rollaway’ vehicle incident at the depot owned and run by Mr Taylor. The HSE offered no further evidence after cross examination of the prosecution witnesses.
