R (HSE) v DJT Surfacing Limited
Simon Antrobus KC and Harry Vann today secured the acquittal of DJT Surfacing Limited at the conclusion of a 4 week trial before Mr. Justice Turner and a Jury sitting at St. Albans Crown Court. DJT were charged with a single breach of section 3 of the HSWA in respect of a fatal accident during the refurbishment of Bedford Bus Station in February 2015.
The Jury convicted Cambus Limited, Bedford Borough Council having pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing.
