Helen Pagett successfully defends NHS Commissioning Board
Helen Pagett has successfully defended the NHS Commissioning Board following a clinical negligence trial at Manchester County Court last week. The claim arose out of an alleged failure by a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to diagnose prosthetic loosening in a knee replacement and recommend revision surgery. Following a 2 day trial, HHJ Evans handed down judgment and found there had been no breach of duty and dismissed the claim.
