David Sears KC and Ben Quiney KC to speak at the White Paper Conference
On Thursday 22nd June, David Sears KC and Ben Quiney KC of Crown Office Chambers will be presenting at The White Paper Company Construction Law Conference: Construction: Shaping New Law into Solution-Focused Advice for Clients where delegates will hear “Answers to 9 Thorny Questions: Directly from 5 KCs and 3 Venerated Solicitors”.
David will be addressing the question: “Without clear guidance from the Court as to what should or shouldn’t be stated, in grey area cases, what tips the balance between a valid and invalid payment notice?”.
Ben will be tackling: “How enforceable is a financial cap on liability or a limitation of responsibilities to reasonable skill and care, with reference to the X18 and X15 NEC 3 provisions and JCT?”.
