Easy Money? Adjudication & Recovery of Party Costs
2016 was an “interesting” year as regards the recovery of costs in adjudication – Anna Laney will be exploring this issue at the forthcoming Society of Construction Law (SCL) Seminar.
Anna acted for the employer in the widely reported case of Lulu Construction Ltd v Mulalley & Co Ltd [2016] EWHC 1852 (TCC), which has generated considerable interest within the adjudication community. We have no doubt that this topic will give rise to an interesting discussion session after the talk, which will consider whether we are now entering a brave new world whereby recovery of party costs is, in fact, a new route to Easy Money.
