Farrah Mauladad was successful in reducing the Claimant’s claim of £3.2 million to £68,000 in Rathore v Bedford Hospitals NHS Trust [2017] EWHC 863 (QB), a clinical negligence claim where the Claimant developed a Somatoform Disorder and Chronic Widespread Pain allegedly as a result of the Defendant’s admitted breach of duty. The Claimant was only awarded 35% of her costs.
