The inquest into the death of Stephen Hunt
The inquest into the death of Stephen Hunt concluded on 18.5.16 after 6 weeks of hearings. The jury completed a questionnaire containing 15 questions. They concluded that Firefighter Hunt had been unlawfully killed as a result of the deliberate actions of two 15 year old girls who started the fire. James Maxwell-Scott KC (instructed by DAC Beachcroft) represented Pauls Hair World, the premises where the death occurred. Mark Balysz represented Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service (instructed by BLM).
