Genesis v Allianz – Ben Quiney KC successful in defending against a fraudulent insurance claim
Ben succeeded in persuading the High Court that Allianz was right to decline paying the Claimant’s insurance claim. The Court accepted that the Insured, by its director, had committed or procured arson of its business premises. Allianz’s serious allegations and decision to decline the claim were vindicated after intense forensic investigations and a hard fought trial. The judgment is reported as Genesisuk.
