Kim Franklin & Crispin Winser succesfully defend AED 41 million claim
Kim Franklin and Crispin Winser (instructed by Kennedys Dubai LLP) have been representing a firm of consulting engineers in a DIAC arbitration. The engineers were facing a claim for professional negligence pleaded at more than AED 41 million (approx £7 million).
Following extensive written submissions and an evidential hearing in Dubai in June 2013, in an award delivered on 9 April 2014, the arbitral tribunal dismissed the claims with costs.
