Mark Balysz secures acquittal of company director charged with Health & Safety offences
Mark Balysz secures acquittal of company director charged with health and safety offences following the death of an employee. After two weeks of evidence and two days of legal argument the judge directed the jury to acquit, the director, Peter Scott. The employee was tragically killed whilst moving heavy machinery. The prosecution was the culmination of a four year investigation. The Company, having previously pleaded guilty, awaits sentence.
